We also went to see the "Four Heads" (what Ryleigh calls Mount Rushmore) on the Fourth of July. It was hot, but we still had fun. Jeff and Ryleigh take a moment to pose in front of Mount Rushmore.
While in South Dakota, we rode the 1880's train in Hill City. It was one of the things that Ryleigh really wanted to do. She had a great time!

We had lots of fun this summer. Our 9th Annual BBQ was a success. We had about 45 - 50 people show up and the beer and food went quickly! We are looking forward to the 10th Annual next year! At the BBQ, Ryleigh made the big announcement that she is going to be a big sister in February! The rest of the summer was busy with swimming and dance lessons for Ryleigh, a trip to South Dakota, a camping trip, and lots of work in the basement.
This steam engine train came by not far from our house. Ryleigh really wanted to go see it, so we headed down to the tracks and waited. As you can see we were able to get really close to the tracks. Ryleigh loved it!
